Mr N was referred to Care & Repair by his Occupational Therapist to replace his bath with a level access shower. Mr N suffered poor balance following a stroke. "It was awkward trying to get in and out of the bath."

Care & Repair assisted by completing a grant application form, carrying out a technical survey and obtaining competitive quotations. The client's chosen contractor completed the installation in one week and "they were very good. I got to choose the colour of the wallboarding and the slip resistant flooring."

The ceiling had to be removed to allow electrical rewiring to be carried out and was in a poor state to repair. Care & Repair arranged an uplift to cover the unforeseen works and the ceiling was replaced with pre-finished pvc ceiling cladding.

Mr N was amazed by the transformation, "the contractors did an excellent job." Mr N said "It is so much easier to have a shower now."
